Slurry Ejector | Solids Ejector

Slurry Ejectors are Liquid ejectors that operate on the basis of the jet Venturi principle.

Slurry Ejector typically have 3 connections

  • 1. High Pressure(HP) Liquid Inlet
  • 2. Suction (Slurry Inlet)
  • 3. Outlet
Slurry Ejector, Solids Ejector

During operation Solids Ejector are able to create a pressure differential across its Suction and outlet.Slurry Ejector utilize the energy in pumped liquid entering from the HP liquid inlet to create this pressure differential.

This enables Slurry Eductor to be used for creating low pressure at its suction. The low pressure allows the Slurry Eductor to suck the slurry through the suction. The sucked slurry mixes with the HP liquid inside the eductor and gets pumped out from the Outlet. The discharge contains the mixture of HP liquid and slurry.

This phenomenon allows the Slurry Ejectors to be used for sucking and pumping Slurries. Slurry Ejectors can develop significant head at the outlet which enables slurry to be pumped across 100s of metres of pipeline.
