{"id":118,"date":"2024-02-24T09:47:04","date_gmt":"2024-02-24T09:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crystaltcs.com\/blog\/?p=118"},"modified":"2024-06-26T10:25:53","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T10:25:53","slug":"sampling-ejectors-for-liquid-reactor-sampling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crystaltcs.com\/blog\/2024\/02\/24\/sampling-ejectors-for-liquid-reactor-sampling\/","title":{"rendered":"Sampling Ejectors for Liquid &amp; Reactor Sampling"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Analyzing Gas &amp; Liquid samples is a routine requirement of process industry.<br>Liquid samples are frequently drawn to study the process progress or to study quality of batch in reactor.<br>Liquid sample need to be pulled out \/ extracted from reactor \/ chamber that are operating at or near atmospheric pressure or under vacuum. <strong>Liquid samples <\/strong>with high viscosity also requires extraction even if the system is under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements from the Sampling system:<br>\u2022 The system must be able to generate the required flow and suction pressure\/vacuum to obtain the required Sampling flow at the operating pressures.<br>\u2022 The system must not contaminate the sampled media and must be able to maintain its purity.<br>\u2022 The system must be able to handle the corrosive and abrasive nature of the media.<br>\u2022 Sampling being a measurement and quality control related process, it may be operated continuously or in form of batch operations. The system must be reliable enough to sustain the needs of the requirement whether continuous\/batch with minimum downtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sampling Ejectors are simple devices that operate on the basis of the jet Venturi principle.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Sampling Ejectors utilize the energy in compressed air\/nitrogen for their operation and can be put to use to create vacuum conditions at their suction inlets.<br>The vacuum generated at its suction allows the <strong>Sampling Ejector<\/strong> to draw liquid samples out of <strong>reactors \/ tanks<\/strong>. Hence it is not necessary to access the ejector for controlling its operation.<br>\u2022 Can be manufactured in a large range of materials (Plastics, Stainless Steels, Exotic Materials)\u2013 it helps to select the best possible material compatible with the involved chemicals and reduces the risk of corrosion<br>\u2022 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crystaltcs.com\/sampling-ejector.php\">Sampling Ejectors<\/a><\/strong> do not contain any moving parts and have large internal passage areas, hence are not vulnerable to liquid entry or clogging by solid particles.<br>\u2022 As they have no moving parts, maintenance requirements are very less. Also it reduces largely the risk of abrupt breakdowns, helps in maintaining the regular production schedule<br>\u2022 Compressed air is a commonly available utility and hence no additional infrastructure is typically required.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Analyzing Gas &amp;
